Hervé MARTIN

Chairman of the Board

Hervé Martin is a telecommunication engineer, with more than thirty five years experience. Hervé is a twenty six years veteran of the semiconductor industry, with experience in sales and marketing, product division management, and new businesses and alliances development, as Group Vice-President for ST-Microelectronics. For the last six years, Hervé was the CEO of Sensitive Object, the company who invented the acoustic Touch technology called APR (Acoustic Pulse Recognition). End 2009, the company was sold to TE Connectivity; this exit was the first successful IT exit in France, after the 2008 financial crisis. Herve has more than twenty five years international experience, with 9 years spent in Asia including 4 years in Tokyo, 12 years managing operations located in USA, Europe, and Asia, and six years running a start-up operating in international environment. He is currently advising High-Tech companies, sharing his experience and skills with their managements.

Frédéric LE BRUN

Supervisory Board Member

After four years spent in corporate recovery consulting and in start-up development Frédéric Le Brun joined the PE and Venture Capital market in 2000, first in a corporate finance Boutique specialized in tech fund raising. He then spent eight years in the PE subsidiary of Natixis banking group. First as a partner in the IT team of Seventure where he lead several transactions in the Telco and mobile environment. Then in the sponsoring team, taking part to the opening of private equity subsidiaries in India, Sweden and Netherlands. He joined CDC Entreprises in 2011, as investment director of FSN PME fund, 400 M€ fund dedicated to the digital companies at venture and expansion stage. He graduated from ESCP Europe.

Guillaume MEULE

Supervisory Board Member

Guillaume has been with the team since 1998 and is responsible for investments in the communications and IT industries, with a specialization in the mobile communications sector. He has managed, among other, Iris investments in Oskar (Czech Republic), Orange Slovakia, Swapcom, Vox Mobili, K-Mobile, Cirpack and Erenis. Prior to joining the team, Guillaume was financial project manager at France Telecom Mobile International for 4 years. He was in charge of the financial part of France Telecom's acquisitions in Belgium (Mobistar), China, India and Denmark. In addition, he had an operating role in the Lebanon subsidiary and was responsible for the Fixed-Mobile-Internet convergence projects. Guillaume is a graduate of the National Institute of Telecommunications engineering school (Evry, France).

André VANDEMEULEBROEKE

Supervisory Board Member

André joined the Sopartec / VIVES team in 2008. He is a member of the VIVES Investment Committee and member of the board of directors of several portfolio companies. He also contributes to the other Sopartec activities (technology projects follow-up, technology commercialization, set-up of spin-off companies). André is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique de Louvain and began his career as a researcher in the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) microelectronics lab. André thereafter joined Alcatel Microelectronics, a Belgian company acquired in 2002 by STMicroelectronics, a world leader in the semiconductor industry. In this international environment, André held various positions successively in the field of R & D, marketing, sales, account management and business development.

Hélène CANNARD GUILLON

Supervisory Board

Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, she worked six years in treasury management for the ADEO Group ; She joigned the IRD Nord Pas de Calais Group in 1998 as member of the investment team. She is in charge of INOVAM as head of participations since 2002. INOVAM is a regional, multisectorial and technological seed capital fund that has invested since its creation 6 ME into 41 companies. She is also member of the board of VIVES-Louvain Technology Fund.

Olivier MILLET, PhD.

Supervisory Board Member, founder

Engineer from ISEN, he is post graduated in electrical engineering and computer science from USTL University. He received a Ph.D in electrical engineering at USTL in 2003. Olivier Millet is the inventor of DelfMEMS RF-MEMS switch structure patent and founded DelfMEMS in 2005. Olivier was former President & CEO of DelfMEMS until 2012 and Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer until end 2013.
