Lille, France – DelfMEMS announced today that Hervé Martin, Philip Cacharelis and Igor Lalicevic have joined the company to further develop its growing MEMS technology for radiofrequency applications. DelfMEMS appoints Hervé Martin as chairman of the supervisory board, Philip Cacharelis as director of foundry technology and Igor Lalicevic as director of Radiofrequency.

Hervé Martin is a telecommunication engineer, with more than thirty five years experience in the Semiconductor Industry.. For the last six years, Hervé was the CEO of Sensitive Object, the company who invented the acoustic Touch technology called APR (Acoustic Pulse Recognition). End 2009, the company was sold to TE Connectivity; this exit was the first successful IT exit in France, after the 2008 financial crisis. Prior to this, Herve spent 12 years at ST-Microelectronics with management and executives responsibilities experience in sales and marketing, product division management, and new businesses and alliances development, as Group Vice-President , managing operations located in USA, Europe, and Asia. He is currently advising High-Tech companies, sharing his experience and skills with their managements.
Philip Cacharelis is Director of Foundry Technology
Philip Cacharelis has over 30 years experience in process technology and device development in CMOS, BiCMOS, embedded non-volatile memory, Smart Power and LCOS microdisplay technologies. He also has a background in foundry engineering and volume production as well as process transfer. Prior to joining DelfMEMS, he served as the Director of Strategy and Innovation at SiPCUBE SAS, a start-up company engaged in the design of 3D, system-in-package products. At Austriamicrosystems, he served as the Director of Engineering for the Full Service Foundry Business Unit. Earlier in his career, he held various management positions at AMIS, Digital Reflection and National Semiconductor. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, has published 17 technical articles and holds 10 patents.
DelfMEMS hires Igor Lalicevic as Director of Radiofrequency
Igor has over 15 years experience in the Wireless industry. Before joining DelfMEMS, Igor have worked with Motorola, M/A-COM, Skyworks and ST-Ericsson (STM). Over the years his work was focused on Mobile phones, Mobile Phone Platforms, Power Amplifiers and RF Front End Modules research and product development and he has multiple high volume shipping projects such as STE mobile platform for Samsung, HTC and Sony-Ericsson; STE WLAN PA&RFIC SoC for Sony Ericsson and HTC; Skyworks Solutions PA Module; Motorola V60i Phone; Motorola Talkabout® Phone and Motorola StarTAC® Phone. Igor have been working on AMPS, GSM, EDGE, CDMA, WCDMA, WLAN (802.11 b/g ,802.11a), WiMAX (802.16e) and LTE products and applications using HBT, PHEMT, iPAD, NLDMOS, BiCMOS7RF, H9SOI & CMOS65 RF semiconductor technologies. Igor have received Master's Degree Engineering Diploma from the University of Zagreb, Croatia.
