DelfMEMS is the world leader in RF switches for Mobile phone architecture, based on MEMS Technology.

The company is close to engage into production and deals with Tier One Mobile Phone module makers. We strengthen our team, which counts 20 engineers, with 10 new hires planned for 2014.

In this context, DelfMEMS creates the job position of Senior Program Manager to coordinate its customer development programs and manage project leaders.

OVERVIEW

As Program Manager, you will manage the customer dedicated development programs for the company, from the first negotiation with customer to the first delivery. You will coordinate the different inter-dependent project phases with the help of the individual project leaders. You will work closely with Sales team, Design and Test engineers, and Manufacturing team. 

As an experienced professional, you will bring your project management skills inside the company, train and manage the team, and recruit project leaders to grow your team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• You participate to major project definition and establishment (Program plan),
• You validate all project phases and requirements, from specifications to execution, including cost estimations, resource availability and technical requirement,
• As owner of the “New Product Development” process, you initiate and review the process milestones : program core team launch, program kick-off, developments (R&D) and industrialization,
• You monitor the programs in all aspects (strategic, financial, technical and organizational) and ensure to respect planning by organizing and managing project reviews and check points,
• You manage inter-departmental collaboration on projects, with a common understanding of project priority, scope and timeline,
• You provide professional program and project management support for all teams,
• You motivate, develop and mentor project team members or peers when relevant.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Education, training :

• Engineer or equivalent in Electronics.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Professional Experience :

10 to 15 years in Program/Project management in an industrial and rigorous environment such as Automotive, Aeronautics or Electronics.

Key competencies:

• Project management skills with ability to operate at senior manager/director level,
• Result-oriented to commit to milestone and deliver projects accordingly,
• Significant experience of leading and managing teams (including matrix management),
• Autonomy, reactivity and rigor,
• Strong communication capabilities (in French and English), with a dynamic spirit, open-minded and persuasive.

Languages:

• Fluent English,
• Good level in French.
